ScriptPro

Modernizing a key player in the pharmacy automation business

ScriptPro is a forward thinking pharmacy technology company that was the first adopter of a robotics technology. And most regretfully it had a very outdated online corporate presence that started to get in the way of its normal operations.

I got the task of completely revamping everything from scratch, simplifying the old website structure and scrapping most of the snowballed content that became quite unwieldy with years. Together with ScriptPro's marketing team we created a new narrative for the company, rebuilt information architecture of the site, and streamlined visitors' experience.

Interface design, animation & interactions, graphic design & illustrations, Webflow development.

The story

Main issue with the old corporate website was the overabundance of information that was getting visitors and potential customers distracted, frustrated, and lost. The leads were not getting through, the sales were suffering.

New energetic management that came on board pushed hard for the desperately needed changes and we at Finsweet got to realize these changes.

We reduced the amount of pages from tens upon tens to just a dozen, removed all unnecessary content from those remaining, streamlined the way to the lead forms, and made sure everything on the site could be managed by anyone, not just dedicated developer.

The company had a long established colour palette already. The change was in shifting most of the usage from the bright blue to darker navy. This was to achieve a more mature look and get rid of the old school web2.0 feeling.

I never thought I will ever see much support from a big pharma corporation when it comes to unconventional visual solutions but team at ScriptPro were eager to try new things. Probably shouldn't have been surprised coming from people who risked it all to jump-start robotics in pharma field!

Multi-disciplinary digital designer

2005 —
present
During these years I've seen things young designers wouldn't believe. Grunge and web2.0 on the rise at the beginning of 00s. I watched first responsive sites glitter in the dark at the dawn of 10s, and first UX-centric approaches emerging recently. I've seen skeuomorphism die. All those moments will not be lost in time.

The who

Hi, I'm Alex. For many years I've been in the process of improving the digital realm around me (and improving myself at the same time) in a couple of ways I could. Mostly by giving it a meaningful look, providing the cues to not get lost in it, and ensuring I am not getting carried away by the visual side of the job. Mind you the latter part is the hardest one.

The what

My field of expertise which may be of use to you, dear visitor, lies in the following:
  • visual design and art direction;
  • user experience design, UI design, and information architecture;
  • interactive design and animation;
  • strategic consulting and project management;
  • web development;
  • Oh, and I can also teach you a thing or two about climbing rocks, scaling mountains or proper tango posture if this is something you'll ever require.
